The scalar half of one model: US Navy ESPC-D-V02 sea surface temperature, salinity and height, and sea ice concentration and thickness, for the C4PO ocean map. The currents come off the same model run and are published by espc-model-repo — split from these because vectors are what cost bytes, and one repository holding both reached 96% of its storage with less than one frame to spare.
It is not a public API. The files under map/ exist to be read
by the map, and their layout is that map's contract.
